BIKING 4days/3nights HUE to HOI AN

Highlight: The city Hue is located in central Vietnam on the banks of the Sông Hương (Hương River), just a few miles inland from the Biển Đông. It is about 700 km (438 mi.) south of the national capital of Hanoi and about 1100 km (690 mi.) north of Hồ Chí Minh City, the country's largest city formerly known as Saigon. The climate is hot and generally wet. Because of the angle of the central coast of Vietnam to the prevailing winds, however, Huế, like Chennai in India, receives most of its rainfall during the northeast monsoon between October and December. It is driest around March and April, but rain may still fall. 

Brief Itinerary: Day 1: Hue - Da Nang 60km+ cycling (L) Our guide will retrieve you from your hotel in Hue and organize a transfer out of the city. The day’s bike ride will begin at Thuan An beach and head to Cau Hai lagoon, where you will see local fishermen and stilt houses on the water. Lunch will either be held as a picnic on the way, or at a local restaurant. After lunch, we’ll continue riding to Lang Co beach. On the way, you’ll cycle up the Hai Van pass and enjoy a scenic view from the summit. Then, we’ll continue cycling along the coast to the hotel for our overnight stay in Da Nang.

Day 2: Da Nang - Hoi An 45km+ cyclng (B, L) In the morning we’ll visit the Cham museum in the city. Then, we’ll begin cycling out of Da Nang toward Marble Mountain, where we’ll visit a stone sculpture factory (products from marble and sandstone). Then, Vietnam Bike Tours’ll continue biking to the ancient town, Hoi An, for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll ride to Thanh Ha pottery village and pass through green rice fields on our way to the hotel to settle down for the night.

Day 3: Hoi An – My Son 30km+ cycling (B, L) In the morning, we’ll ride to My Son world heritage to admire the peak culture of the Cham people between the 4th and 13th centuries. We’ll take some time to explore the sites before cycling the back roads to highway 1 for a transfer back to Hoi An. You’ll have the entire afternoon at leisure to relax on the beach and explore Hoi An. 

Day 4: Hoi An Departure (B) In the morning we’ll enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, you’ll have two options: you may either join an organized cooking class, or choose to take another leisure day. Your guide will assist with your transfer to Da Nang airport for your next flight.
