BIKING 3days/2nights DA LAT to NHA TRANG

Highlight: Nha Trang is one of the most important tourist hubs of Vietnam, thanks to its beautiful beaches with fine and clean sand and the clear ocean water with mild temperatures all year round. There are several resorts - such as Vinpearl, Diamond Bay and Ana Mandara - and amusement and water parks, both in the city and on islands off the coast. The possibly most beautiful street of Nha Trang is Tran Phu Street along the seaside, sometimes referred to as the Pacific Coast Highway of Vietnam.

Lying off Nha Trang is the Hon Tre Island (Bamboo Island), with a major resort operated by the Vinpearl Group. A motorized chair lift system, reportedly the longest in the world, links the mainland to the five-star resort and theme park on Hon Tre Island. Nha Trang is a stopover for annual yacht races starting in Hong Kong. Island hopping, scuba diving, water sports and other sporting activities can be enjoyed in the city. The local cuisine is most famous for fresh seafoods and barbecued pork rolled in rice paper. The farmed bird in question belongs to the swiftlet group, popularly referred to as yến sào (Aerodramus fuciphagus germani).

Brief Itinerary: Day 1: Da Lat City 50km+ (L) This ride probably offers the best sampling of single-track downhill riding in the Da Lat area. On this excursion, you’ll visit numerous attractions in Da Lat City: the Crazy House, King Bao Dai's Summer Palace, Lam Ty Ni Pagoda, the Valley of Love, Da Lat Flower Garden, Langbiang view, the Railway Station and around Xuan Huong Lake. The view is outstanding as you cycle past pine-forested hills and picturesque small farms dotting the valleys you ride through. We’ll stay overnight at a hotel in the city. 

Day 2: Da Lat - Nha Trang 90km+ (B, L) In the morning, we’ll leave the hotel and begin our trip on some undulating roads lined with lush pine trees. We’ll stop for some rest and enjoy a picnic for lunch. Then, Vietnam Bike Tours’ll continue on to highway 1 where we’ll transfer by bus to Nha Trang. If time permits, we’ll stop to visit the Cham tower Ponagar on the way. We’ll stay overnight at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Nha Trang.

Day 3: Nha Trang (B, L) In the morning we’ll have a boat trip to Hon Mun Island for some snorkeling to see the coral reef and ocean life. We’ll also pay a visit to Tri Nguyen Aquarium. Then we’ll enjoy lunch in a Lang Chai islet (fish village) restaurant. Afterward, we’ll boat back and end the tour.
