BIKING 4d/3n - saigon to Nam Cat Tien to Da Lat to Nha Trang flight/train back saigon
ITINERARY
The fauna of Cat Tien National Park includes: 105 listed mammal species, more than 360 species of birds, 120 reptile and amphibian species and more than 130 species of freshwater fish. We’ll cycle around so that you can try to see some of this amazing wildlife, in addition to picturesque views along the way, on this four-day tour.
DAY 1 SAIGON – CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK 35KM CYCLING (L, D)
Transfer about 1.5 hours and head on to Vinh Cuu District. Start cycling on quiet countryside road to Nam Cat Tien Park. We arrive at the ranger post to meet our Cat Tien park ranger. Check in the guest house, a short trekking in the forest to see many old trees in the park. Overnight in Nam Cat Tien national park and take a jeep to see the wild animals in the evening.
DAY 2 NAM CAT TIEN – DALAT 60KM CYCLING (B, L, D)
After having breakfast, we start cycling through the forest to Madagui area. Madagui, in its ethnic minority language, means “The Gui River of the Ma people.” There are several Ma’s villages around Madagui Forest Resort, namely, B’Keh village, B’Lú village… Lunch en route then transfers to Dalat.
Overnight in Dalat.
DAY 3 DALAT – NHATRANG 100KM CYCLING (B, L, D)
Cycle downhill to Cham temples called Ponaga temple. This place can be called the highlight of this trip, in which you will get an epic road biking experience: long hill climbs and descents/winding forest roads/wild scenery/coastal plains/pine forest vegetation/rugged countryside. Transfer the rest way to Nhatrang. Overnight in Nhatrang.
DAY 4 NHATRANG BOATING (B, L)
A day with a boat trip to islands. Experience the coast of Nha Trang aboard as boat as we set out in the morning, for our first stop at the aquarium. We then head out to Hon Mun Island where we have the chance for swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear waters. From here we continue to Hon Tam Island where you have the choice of relaxing on the beach or for the energetic – there is a choice of water sports. Our lunch stop is at the fishing village of Lang Chai where we have time to explore before boarding our boat back to Nha Trang harbor. Return to Saigon.

4 Days on Bikes from Ho Chi Minh through Cat Tien to Da Lat to the Coast, Awesome! - "The two of us booked a 4 day, 3 night trip to cycle around Vietnam. We we're picked up in Ho Chi Minh City and driven outside of the city. We cycled to Cat Tein National park, stayed at a beautiful and peaceful spot on the river and then cycled through the park the next day. We cycled and transferred to Da Lat where we had some great meals, tourism, and a great place to stay. The next day we met up with another guide and did some great cross country style (up and down) mountain biking with some spectacular views of the mountains. On the fourth day we cycled down out of the mountains to the coast and went for a swim in a non-touristy beach before heading back to Ho Chi Minh.
Most important of the trip was our guide Phuc/Happiness. He was very organized and responsible but also very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable.[...]
All in all it was a wonderful trip and a great and efficient way to feel like we we're seeing some of the behind the scenes action and people in Vietnam.
