2 Days Cycling Mekong DeltaSai Gon - Ben Tre - Vinh Long

ITINERARY

On this two-day adventure in the Mekong, you’ll really get familiar with the local way of life. We’ll stay overnight in a homestay where the sleeping area is open plan, with a traditional wooden bed and mosquito nets hanging overhead.

Day 1: Sai Gon – Ben Tre – Vinh Long 60km cycling (L)
Transfer from Saigon to Ben Tre – the gateway of the Mekong Delta. Cycling starts after a ferry ride across the Tien River at Mytho. We will cyle down narrow roads and lanes, past banana plantations, fields of sugar cane, and the lush green landscape of the delta. Stay overnight on An Binh island.

Day 2: Vinh Long – Cai Be – Cai Lay – My Tho – Sai Gon 50km cycling (B,L)

We’ll cruise up the Mekong River to visit a nursery after breakfast. Then, we’ll keep boating across the river to bustling Cai Be floating market. We’ll visit a family-run business for producing rice paper. After the boat trip, we’ll cycle to Cai Lay and have lunch in My THo. We’ll also take some time to visit the ornamental Khmer pagoda.Back to Saigon in the afternoon.
